Kazuya KIMOTO (Shimane Prefecture School Children Badminton Federation Chairman)
We are very grateful for the cooperation of the families and coaches.
The supporter goods and panels for the players encouraged the kids to be more ambitious, which gave energy to the games and the support so that there were many intense contests. Some ran around the court with a loud voice while others started crying when they knew they were losing. We hope that each player will improve at the next tournament.
We will manage our federation so that we can produce players that can win at the national tournament. We have an expectation that players from Shimane Prefecture can go on to represent Japan.

During the break time of our support activities, we got to watch the upper grades boy’s final. It was a very hard fought contest from both players, so we put in a lot of effort for our support. The player who lost 1 game made a comeback. We felt a strong emotion at the moment when he won the match.
We stayed until all the players and their guardians left the venue. When they lined up and said thank you to show their gratitude, we felt something that we cannot put into words.
