Shigekazu TERASOMA (Fukui Prefecture School Children Badminton Federation Chairman)
Daihatsu provided sponsorship from this year. Thank you very much.
With the cheering goods in their hands, the players provided more support than in the past. The gymnasium was also very hot so the drink service was really appreciated. To each of the representative players, please try your best with the aim of reaching the top for Fukui prefecture.
We will keep striving to develop players that can win at the national tournament and to provide a good environment for the players.

It was the first time for us to see a primary school badminton tournament. We felt it was a broad tournament that featured small children from grade 1 and 2, and also more experienced players from grade 6. At the corner for writing messages of support to the Japanese national players, we were impressed that there were so many children who support local hero Akane YAMAGUCHI. It gave us a fresh appreciation for the strong popularity of badminton in Fukui prefecture.
Finally to all the players chosen as representatives of Fukui prefecture, we have high hopes that you will achieve good results at the national tournament.
