Toshihiro ISHIDA (Vice President, Miyazaki Primary School Badminton Association)
Thanks to the sponsorship from Daihatsu, the status of the tournament has risen and the children’s motivation improved.
I hope the players bring out the best of their abilities as representatives of Miyazaki prefecture on the national stage.
From now on we want to expand the number of badminton players at the junior level, to create the link between junior and senior high school players, up until the become professional players.
- It was the first time for us to see the qualifying rounds that lead to the national tournament, but the atmosphere of the venue and the expressions on the player’s faces was completely distinctive. Although it was held in June, Miyazaki was already hot so the drinks and original paper fans that we prepared were really appreciated. We will continue to support our local players from Miyazaki!
