Hidetoshi SONEHARA(Nagano Prefecture School Children Badminton Federation Chairman)
I hope the winning players in each group at this tournament can give their best effort at the national tournament in Kumamoto, and return home with good results.
With Daihatsu as the main sponsor for this tournament, we were able to make the event in a really splendid atmosphere. It also helped to motivate the children, so I’m happy about this. We hope to continue to offer our support towards cheering for the children.
- With the largest ever number of players competing in this year’s qualifying tournament in Nagano prefecture, we realized how popular badminton really is. Needless to say we were impressed to see the players putting in so much effort, but we were also very happy to see the united audience showing their enthusiasm with their cheering balloons. Many thanks to the members of the federation for your help in preparing the facilities. Please keep doing your best to win the Daihatsu cup next year!
