Hisao MIYAZAWA (Director, Management Operations Department of the Shiga Prefecture Primary School Badminton Federation)
The number of participating children increased and they played exciting games in each group.
I want the players who won to do their best as representatives on behalf of all the primary school players in Shiga prefecture who are working so hard.
The atmosphere of the tournament changed significantly this year and so did the players’ motivation towards the tournament, so their passion for badminton was amplified as well. I thought the players looked so dependable on the court.
- It was our first time to watch primary school badminton matches and we were surprised to see their speediness and technique that went beyond our expectations. Also, we were truly glad to be a part of this project where we could see the joyful faces of the players and their families. We will continue to support the ABC Badminton National Primary School Tournament!
