Fumika YAMADA (Shizuoka Prefecture School Children Badminton Federation Executive Director)
The level of the tournament is rising every year, so it is getting difficult to win through the qualifying rounds. To all the players who managed to emerge from these tough contests, aim for the next level with pride.
The participants, parents and supporters were very pleased by the drinks and cheering goods provided by Daihatsu, as well as the free car inspections. It was clear to see that our sponsor was cheering us on, while we got very good feedback from not just those running the tournament but also the participants and supporters. I felt that the status of the ABC qualifying tournament has been raised.

It was the first time for us to watch badminton matches, but we were surprised by the level of the primary school students which was higher than we imagined. It was apparent that all the players trained so hard for these matches.
We were moved by the sight of the smiling players who won, as well as those who lost and cried. This time we distributed drinks and cheering balloons and performed free car inspections. We want to continue our support into the future.
